Upholstery & Furniture Repair, Calgary AB
I reupholster, repair and restore furniture — with a particular soft spot for mid-century and Danish pieces. If you have something worth keeping, send me a few photos and I'll tell you what it needs.
What I Do
Reupholstery
Stripped to the frame, cleaned up inside, and tailored in your new fabric — with attention to grain lines and the details that make a piece look right.
Repair and Restoration
The structural work under the surface — wobbling frames stabilized, loose joints re-glued, worn internal supports rebuilt.
Foam Replacement
For sagging, tired cushions. Old compressed foam out, fresh high-quality cushioning in, so the piece supports you properly again.
Custom Projects
Precision button tufting, pattern placement, specialized tailoring. The finishing touches on a piece you have a clear vision for.
“Zach at Loomi Upholstery is friendly and very professional. He has a keen eye for all the details! I hire him to upholster my projects and refer him to my clients who are looking to have upholstery done. I highly recommend him.”

A few photos and rough measurements are usually all I need to give you a real number. No obligation.
Mid-century & Danish, in particular
I started out collecting vintage furniture — mid-century and Danish especially — and learning what makes those pieces last. The proportions, the materials, the way they develop character instead of wearing out. Furniture built with that much intention deserves to be restored with the same care. I work on everything, but if you have a teak lounge chair or a set of Danish dining chairs, you’ve come to the right place.
